We never planned on staying in our house as long as we have and as soon as we realized that maybe we would be staying in it longer than we wanted, we began making remodel plans. We would just sit for hours and think of ways we could make our house better.
Right before Kenadie was born we needed another bedroom so we totally remodeled a room and changed it from an office to a bedroom. Dave moved the door, put in a closet, painted and new carpet. Paityn and Andee got that bedroom and Kenadie got the old bedroom. We also redid our bathroom. I guess that was the beginning of our remodel.
My aunt has been living with us up until about a month ago so we were living downstairs while she was living upstairs. She moved out and we took the chance to start the upstairs remodel. We knocked out a wall between two bedrooms upstairs to make a master bedroom. We'll be changing another bedroom upstairs and making one of the bathrooms into a master bath. Quite a project if you ask me but we are so excited.
The girls thought it was pretty neat that they could walk through walls!
Even Paityn got in on the demolition.

WOW!!! What a big project!! Can't wait to see the finished project!! It will be so strange to have that house be so different, but so exciting at the same time!! Good luck!!!
I am excited to see the before and after pics!! It will be nice to have the project all finished. And the girls look like they are having fun helping!!
