It's Great To Be 8

I don't even know where to begin to explain how much I love these pictures. Mrs. Sugu/Kristi is so talented and I love that she takes soooo many pictures. But then it's hard to choose which ones to print. I might as well have a whole wall devoted for these because it was so hard to pick. That has happened each time she has done our pictures. So......here are just a "few" of our favorites out of the "hundreds" she took :)

My absolute favorite!

What's Up!!!

I have become one of those that doesn't blog for months on end and then posts one of those REALLY long posts to try and catch up. So here it goes!

Andee turns 5
Princess themed of course complete with crystal glasses (notice the pinky sticking up)

This cake has graced 3 of our birthday parties. I guess that's part of having girls!

Playing With Puppies
My nieces dog had these adorable puppies and we just couldn't help but to cuddle with them.

Paityn Turns 8

Paityn had a pajama/pizza party in "Mrs. Braithwaite's" classroom with her friends.

Kenadie Turns 2

What a little ball of fun. Don't mind the big ol' scab on her forehead. Falling down the stairs onto the sidewalk comes with being 2 I guess.

Trip to the Zoo

Playing With Cousins

The girls love that they have 2 cousins just down the street and they love when they come and play! Kenadie has become quite the little jumper and has learned how to stay on her feet pretty good despite two older sisters jumping harder and higher.

Easter

Coloring the eggs

The mess

My pretty Easter girls in their new Easter dresses.

Paityn's Baptism

She looked so pretty in her white baptism dress

Waiting to be baptized. What a blessing to be able to have a dad that holds the priesthood and is able to baptize her and give her a blessing. It was such a special day.

Two proud parents

Everyone who was able to come and support Paityn on her special day. We're so grateful that there were so many who were able to make it.

Hangin' Out

Having lunch together

Engjoying a good book together

Just relaxin'

We've just come to accept that this is Kenadie's camera smile :)

Climbing in the cupboards

Watching a movie together

And there you have it! The last 3 months in a nutshell.

First Graders Have a Dream

After talking about "the dream" that Martin Luther King Jr. had, my first graders were asked to write down what their dream was to make this world a better place.

My dream is.......

everyone to be nice, to get along and share.

all the black people can do whatever they want.

to clean up the city.

that everyone would have more toys.

that I could fly.

my dream is for everybody to get along.

that everybody will be better.

if it will be quiet.

no fighting in the school.

to make my mom nice.

I'd have a new home.

to recycle and not to fight.

everyone has a good day.

everyone be nice.

my dream is there is no wars.

to work together!

for everyone to do what they want to do.

to be good people and to never be mean.

I hope their dreams come true!
